This trial is testing a new medication called Depemokimab for people with severe asthma who have high levels of certain white blood cells. The goal is to see if switching to Depemokimab works as well as their current treatments. The medication aims to reduce these white blood cells to help control asthma symptoms.

This phase III trial compares an additional support program (text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling) with usual care in making sure breast cancer patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed (medication adherence). Medication adherence is how well patients take the medication as prescribed by their doctors, and good medical adherence is when patients take medications correctly. Poor medication adherence has been shown to be a serious barrier to effective treatment for hormone receptor positive breast cancer patients. Adding text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling to usual care may increase the number of days that patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed.

This trial is testing if vitamin D3 along with regular cancer drugs and another drug that helps the immune system can better treat colorectal cancer that has spread. Vitamin D3 may help the body use essential minerals, making the cancer drugs more effective. Vitamin D3 has been shown to slow down cancer cell growth and help them mature, and it has been effective in reducing intestinal tumors in animal studies.

This phase III trial compares the usual treatment (treatment with ipilimumab and nivolumab followed by nivolumab alone) to treatment with ipilimumab and nivolumab, followed by nivolumab with cabozantinib in patients with untreated renal cell carcinoma that has spread to other parts of the body. The addition of cabozantinib to the usual treatment may make it work better. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Cabozantinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known how well the combination of cabozantinib and nivolumab after initial treatment with ipilimumab and nivolumab works in treating patients with renal cell cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

The North American Therapeutics in Epidermal Necrolysis Syndrome (NATIENS) study is a multicenter double-blind randomized controlled assessment of two arms - one of systemic immunomodulatory therapy (etanercept) and one of supportive care deemed to be the current standard of care. We will leverage the opportunity of this controlled design to collect multiples samples with an aim to discover new genetic and biological markers for prevention and early diagnosis and define cellular and molecular mechanisms to facilitate discovery of promising treatment strategies. This study has been preceded by a planning phase to ensure testing and development of harmonized supportive care infrastructure and operating procedures across sites.

This randomized phase II/III trial studies how well whole-brain radiation therapy works and compares it with or without hippocampal avoidance in treating patients with small cell lung cancer that is found in one lung, the tissues between the lungs, and nearby lymph nodes only (limited stage) or has spread outside of the lung in which it began or to other parts of the body (extensive stage). Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. The hippocampus is part of the brain that is important for memory. Avoiding the hippocampus during whole-brain radiation could decrease the chance of side effects on memory and thinking. It is not yet known whether giving whole-brain radiation therapy is more effective with or without hippocampal avoidance in treating patients with small cell lung cancer.

Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. It is not yet known whether giving radiation with concomitant and adjuvant temozolomide versus radiation with adjuvant PCV is more effective in treating anaplastic glioma or low grade glioma.

The goal of this clinical study is to learn about the long-term safety and tolerability of cenerimod in adult patients with moderate to severe symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Whether cenerimod causes any adverse effects ('side effects') when given on top of drugs already being given for systemic lupus erythematosus. * How well cenerimod works to reduce symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus when taken for at least 1 year and up to 3 years. Participants taking part in this study will have already taken part in another study, where they received either cenerimod or placebo (look-alike substance containing no active drug) for 1 year. In this clinical study approximately 680 participants will receive cenerimod (on top of drugs already being given for systemic lupus erythematosus) for at least 1 year and up to 3 years.

This study will look at how much CagriSema helps people with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new investigational medicine. Doctors may not yet prescribe CagriSema. CagriSema will be compared to a "dummy" medicine (also called "placebo") that has no effect on the body. Participant will get either CagriSema or "dummy" medicine and which treatment they get is decided by chance. Participant will take the study medicine together with their current diabetes medicine (once-daily insulin with or without metformin). For each participant, the study will last for about one year.

Why Other Patients Applied

"I have dealt with voice and vocal fold issues related to paralysis for over 12 years. This problem has negatively impacted virtually every facet of my life. I am an otherwise healthy 48 year old married father of 3 living. My youngest daughter is 12 and has never heard my real voice. I am now having breathing issues related to the paralysis as well as trouble swallowing some liquids. In my research I have seen some recent trials focused on helping people like me."

Paralysis PatientAge: 50

"I changed my diet in 2020 and I’ve lost 95 pounds from my highest weight (283). I am 5’3”, female, and now 188. I still have a 33 BMI. I've been doing research on alternative approaches to continue my progress, which brought me here to consider clinical trials."

WR
Obesity PatientAge: 58

"I've been struggling with ADHD and anxiety since I was 9 years old. I'm currently 30. I really don't like how numb the medications make me feel. And especially now, that I've lost my grandma and my aunt 8 days apart, my anxiety has been even worse. So I'm trying to find something new."

FF
ADHD PatientAge: 31

"My orthopedist recommended a half replacement of my right knee. I have had both hips replaced. Currently have arthritis in knee, shoulder, and thumb. I want to avoid surgery, and I'm open-minded about trying a trial before using surgery as a last resort."

HZ
Arthritis PatientAge: 78

"As a healthy volunteer, I like to participate in as many trials as I'm able to. It's a good way to help research and earn money."
